Bank Specialist Physiotherapist | Women’s Health | Norwich | Wednesday - Saturday
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Specialist Physiotherapist in Women’s Health to join our bank staffing to support the Physio department on a flexible basis at Spire Norwich Hopsital.
You will be required to provide highly skilled and specialised assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients within the outpatient service for pelvic health patient caseloads.
Duties and responsibilities;
1. Develop practice in the assessment of health and wellbeing needs.
2. Develop practice in addressing patient’s health and wellbeing needs.
3. Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
4. Develop knowledge and practice in own area of work.
5. Develops a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security.
6. Develop and improve services.
7. Improve quality.
8. Enable people to exercise their rights and promote their equality and diversity.
9. Lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practices.
10. Apply technology for measurement, monitoring and treatment of patients.
Who we're looking for
11. Degree (BSc Hons Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
12. Post-Graduate Diploma in specialist programme
13. Post graduate experience in relevant specialism. Pelvic Health physiotherapy
14. Experience of applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied caseloads
15. Experience of working in partnership with consultants and participating in creating innovative solutions for new services
16. Competence across a range of physiotherapy, management and leadership skills supported by skilled professional and specialist knowledge in the chosen physiotherapy specialism.
17. Evidence of post registration continuing professional development
18. Keeps abreast of clinical developments in specialism
19. Possess Equipment and Medical Devices Competences any additional competences relevant to job role.
20. Trained on MS Office and other relevant packages
21. Possess the Mandatory Training including Infection Control competences and health and safety
22. Willing to work flexible patterns. evenings/weekend/on call as required
23. Registration with the Health Care Professions Council
24. Willing to participate in flexible working pattern
25. Empathy for vulnerable and sick patients
26. Empathy for principles and importance of EO and dignity at work
