Responsibilities

* Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
* Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of baking supplies and placing orders as necessary.
* Participate in training junior kitchen staff on pastry techniques and best practices.
* Keep up-to-date with industry trends in pastry arts to continually enhance skills and offerings.
Experience
* Proven experience in food production or preparation within a professional kitchen setting.
* Strong culinary experience with a focus on baking techniques is essential.
* Previous restaurant experience is preferred, demonstrating the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is required.
