The home supports young people aged 8-18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). A stable, nurturing environment with a committed staff team and consistent routines. You will join a regional network of homes with strong operational and senior leadership support. Access to a wide clinical team including: Practitioner Psychologist Therapist Harmful Sexual Behaviour Advisor Exploitation Specialist Police Liaison Advisor Therapeutic Practice Trainer Educational Psychologists Clinical support designed not just for young people, but also for managers and staff to enhance resilience, reflective practice and professional growth. A home culture centred on safety, aspiration, respect, and relational care. Strong organisational commitment to development, internal progression, and leadership training. The Role: Lead the home with compassion, clarity and confidence. Champion high-quality, therapeutic care for all young people. Build and maintain a positive, resilient, and inclusive home culture. Ensure consistent safeguarding, compliance and regulatory standards. Manage all operational elements including staffing, rota planning and budgets. Support, mentor and develop your team, identifying future leaders and encouraging professional growth. Drive continuous improvement through reflective practice and a child-centred approach. Work closely with external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each young person. Requirements: Minimum 3 years' senior experience within a children's residential setting. Level 3 or 4 in Children & Young People's Workforce. Achieved or working towards Level 5 Leadership & Management (Children & YP). Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and Children's Home Regulations. Experience with budgets, staffing and operational management. Confident, resilient leader passionate about achieving outstanding outcomes. Full UK Driving Licence. Flexibility to participate in on-call as needed. Interested?
