Are you a skilled mechanical technician with a passion for maintaining and improving complex building systems? We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join a dedicated Infrastructure and Facilities Management team. You ll play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of a wide range of building and mechanical services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform mechanical maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and building services infrastructure.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in systems such as HVAC, piped gases, hot/cold water systems, pressurised systems, MTHW/LTHW, chilled water, and refrigeration.
* Support statutory monitoring and testing requirements.
* Liaise with and supervise external contractors, service engineers, etc
* Contribute to health & safety and quality assurance practices.
* Support the Senior Maintenance Technician and contribute to the planned maintenance programme.
* Participate in on-call duties during commissioning and operational phases.
Experience:
* Strong background in mechanical/building services maintenance.
* Previous commercial experience with systems such as HVAC, water, refrigeration, or piped gases.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
* Good communication and contractor supervision skills.
* Health & Safety awareness and familiarity with maintenance risk assessments.
