Are you an experienced Transport Manager ready to take ownership of a high-performing transport operation?
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established logistics and storage business, operating a modern fleet of HGVs and refrigerated vehicles across the UK & ROI. You'll oversee a team of transport planners and coordinators, ensuring compliance, efficiency and exceptional customer service within a growing, professional logistics environment.
The Role:
* Lead and develop a team of transport planners, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
* Oversee compliance with UK & ROI O-Licence requirements and act as CPC holder.
* Monitor driver hours, tachographs and fleet compliance.
* Analyse costs, identify efficiencies and present reports to senior management.
* Collaborate closely with customers, maintaining high service levels and strong relationships.
* Utilise modern TMS software (CARGO) to monitor KPI performance and routing efficiency.
* Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate outbound movements.
About You:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Transport Manager position.
* CPC qualification essential.
* Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills.
* Proven experience managing budgets and improving operational efficiency.
* Excellent IT and reporting ability.
* Knowledge of temperature-controlled logistics desirable.
Benefits:
* £48,000 - £55,000 DOE.
* 28 days annual leave + additional benefits including healthcare plan, pension and bonus.
