What You’ll Do
We are seeking an EHS Manager responsible for maintaining site ISO certifications, ensuring accurate EHS reporting, closing MESH and regulatory findings promptly, training EHS personnel, liaising with public and authorities, managing crises, site security, and fostering a strong EHS culture across the site.
Responsibilities
* Manage and direct site EHS targets and objectives, supporting strategic initiatives.
* Facilitate risk assessments to identify hazards and environmental impacts, setting reduction targets.
* Determine and monitor leading and lagging performance indicators.
* Support the creation of EHS goals for leadership and staff to promote compliance and results.
* Assist plant management in appointing MESH champions and engaging them.
* Promote a zero-incident EHS culture.
* Engage employees through EHS teams and committees.
* Ensure compliance with local and national EHS regulations through annual evaluations.
* Pursue third-party recognition for EHS excellence.
* Utilize EHS data systems like MESH Suite for data management.
* Create and track training matrices for all EHS training activities.
* Work with leadership and facilities to ensure operational controls are in place and effective.
Qualifications
* Degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or similar.
* Advanced degree (Master’s or higher preferred).
* Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, or equivalent).
* Expertise in industry-specific environmental, health, and safety regulations.
* Knowledge of manufacturing technologies and processes.
