Overview
We are seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our team in carrying out warehouse duties such as pick, pack and ship, and also some cutting workshop activities.
Responsibilities
- Utilise warehouse management systems to manage orders/despatches.
- Perform picking, packing, and stock replenishment duties
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation
- Operate forklifts and other mechanical equipment for material handling
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse
- Carry out cutting and workshop work using machinery
Requirements
- Proficiency in using inventory management software
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks
- Prior experience in warehouse operations is advantageous
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures such as picking, packing, and shipping receiving
- Knowledge of stock control and inventory management systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 per week
