We are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic School Liaison and Events Officer to join Joseph Chamberlain College.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with excellent communication and administrative skills to work closely with the Head of Marketing and Student Recruitment, the Marketing and Admissions teams to ensure an effective and positive experience for prospective students and applicants.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and deliver school liaison activities and support college events associated with student recruitment.
* Implement an effective programme of school liaison to support the recruitment strategy.
* Develop strong relationships with local secondary schools.
* Provide professional communications and facilitate advice on progression to Sixth Form.
* Work closely with the Admissions Officer to support the delivery of an effective and customer‑focussed admissions process, supporting applicants and parents from the initial application process through to enrolment.
* Travel to local schools to represent and be an ambassador of the College at student recruitment events; may need to work out of hours as agreed with the line manager.
You would play a vital role in the College, which is graded as ‘outstanding’ in all categories by Ofsted. Our College excels in providing a broad, inclusive, and high‑quality education to all of our learners, which has resulted in some of the highest levels of progression to Higher Education in the sector. In 2023, students at Joseph Chamberlain College achieved outstanding exam results. Job Details
Hours of work: Full‑time, permanent (Full‑time, term‑time applications may be considered)
Salary: The salary for this post will be up point 17 on the support staff Sixth Form College’s salary scale, which is £34,253 FTE, and this will be adjusted for term‑time.
