Carpenter (Heritage Experience) Location: London, KT9 Start Date: 05/01/2026 We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter with a strong background in heritage restoration to join our client's specialist conservation team. This role involves working on a historic and listed building, delivering high-quality restoration and repair works while respecting traditional construction methods and materials. Key Responsibilities Carry out carpentry and general building works on heritage and listed properties Repair, restore, and replicate traditional timber elements and architectural features Work with hardwoods, softwoods, traditional joints, and hand-finished details Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and conservation plans Liaise closely with site management, conservation officers, and other trades Maintain strict adherence to health & safety and heritage preservation standards Required Experience & Skills Proven experience working on heritage or restoration projects Strong understanding of traditional carpentry techniques and materials Ability to repair or replace timber beams, frames, windows, and bespoke joinery Excellent attention to detail and pride in high-quality workmanship Candidate Requirements Blue CSCS Card (essential) Reliable, punctual, and physically fit Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team Own tools
