JOB – Graduate Mechanical Engineer
LOCATION – Birmingham
TERM- Permanent
SALARY - £25,000-£35,000, dependent on experience
My client is a specialist manufacturer. They are looking for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Birmingham on a permanent basis.
The Graduate Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
* Apprenticeship/Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
* A sound understanding of Engineering
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* Experienced working with a range of manufacturing processes
* Hands-on technical experience through your course
* Leadership skills and the ability to motivate others
* Organised with excellent communication and customer service skills
The Graduate Mechanical Engineer role will involve:
* Supporting/overseeing the Projects and Service team
* Dealing with customers on a technical level
* Working to budgets and project timings
* Investigating new product lines and areas within which the company can expand
* Being involved in different manufacturing processes
* Ensuring projects are delivered correctly and efficiently
* Keeping track of company documentation, equipment and necessary upgrades
