Main Purpose of the Position: As a valued member of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance on front end can making equipment. Your role will involve operating, adjusting, and repairing high-speed production equipment to ensure it meets customer specifications. Key Responsibilities: Safety First: Develop and implement safe working practices for both routine and non-routine tasks. Efficiency: Manage the CMMS system, complete assigned work orders within agreed time frames, and suggest improvements. Problem Solving: Identify and rectify process performance issues on cupping press and die set, bodymaker and trimmers, and coolant system pumps/filters/pipework. Routine Checks: Conduct daily routine checks for plant and production equipment. Continuous Monitoring: Keep a close eye on equipment condition to ensure optimal performance.
