Salary: £26,707 to £28,031 per annum pro rata; which equates to £18,767 to £19,697 per annum part time
About this role
We are currently seeking an experienced administrator to join our friendly and supportive team based on a part time basis at our Chichester campus. The key focus of this role is to support work placement activity. This is a central activity of the School of Sports, Science and Engineering’s student experience and will involve short and longer-term placements in schools and clubs as well as organising sport and physical activity events. The post holder will be responsible for promoting and coordinating these activities and developing a strong portfolio of opportunities for the benefit of the School, its students and client organisations. The post holder may also be required to support international student exchange activities
About you
You will have a good general education to A level or equivalent, with a high standard of literacy, numeracy and attention to detail. You will need good interpersonal and communication skills, a professional manner and the ability to build relationships and respect confidentiality. You will need to be approachable, adaptable and conscientious with a strong student focus. Previous administrative experience is essential, ideally within a similar environment, as is the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage and prioritise workload.
