We Do Group are working with a large international group operating across renewable energy, engineering services and major global projects. THE ROLE
You’ll join the UK and regional tax function, taking responsibility for UK corporate tax compliance, tax reporting, forecasting, advisory support and project work. The group operates across multiple jurisdictions, giving you visibility of a wide range of tax matters and the opportunity to partner closely with colleagues across finance, legal and the wider global tax team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage the tax provision process for the UK group
* Prepare UK corporation tax returns for review
* Support the UK R&D tax credit process
* Lead withholding tax compliance and double tax treaty applications
* Maintain and update regional cash tax forecasts
* Partner closely with finance, legal and global tax teams
* Support technical research and tax planning initiatives
* Contribute to regional tax reporting and compliance across Europe
* Support improvements to tax systems, processes and controls including SOX compliance
YOUR PROFILE
* Strong experience working in corporate tax within industry or practice
* Familiarity with tax accounting concepts and reporting principles
* Ability to explain complex tax matters in clear, practical language
* Highly organised, analytical and proactive approach
* Comfortable working independently within a large international structure
* Excellent communicator with a collaborative mindset
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
* Exposure to tax reporting under US GAAP
* General ledger interrogation experience
* Working knowledge of MS Dynamics or MS Power applications
QUALIFICATIONS
* CTA or ACA qualified (or equivalent)
