Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician and Mot Tester to join our team. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
* Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using schematics and diagnostic equipment
* Repair and replace vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
* Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and ensure vehicles are in compliance with safety standards
Skills:
* Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
* Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
* Experience with vehicle assembly, repair, and maintenance
* Excellent problem-solving skills-
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
