Job Description
* Process invoices, payments, and financial transactions accurately and promptly.
* Assist in preparing financial reports for internal and external use.
* Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
* Support the reconciliation of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Respond to queries regarding financial processes and transactions.
* Collaborate with team members in the Accounting & Finance department to ensure smooth operations.
* Help monitor budgets and identify discrepancies for resolution.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial procedures and systems.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
* Previous experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the Not For Profit sector.
* Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
* The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
* A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
