About the role

As our Clinical Unit Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the effective operation and delivery of the nursing team. You will work in conjunction with the Home Manager and Deputy Manager to recruit and train nursing staff, ensure adherence to laws and infection control plans, and attend management meetings to discuss staff and resident matters. Your duties will include supervising nurse staff, developing care plans for residents, and ensuring compliance procedures are followed.

Here are some other important details:

* Valid UK NMC Pin is essential
* Shared responsibility with Home Manager and Deputy for staff recruitment, induction, training, and regular appraisals
* Liaison with the Home Manager and Deputy to ensure effective operation of the unit
* Monitoring CQC standards and ensuring quality of care, liaising with inspectors
* Ensuring all nurse staff receive regular supervision and training
* Maintaining high nursing standards in line with best practices, policies, and regulations
