Join Our Engineering Team at The Compleat Food Group!
We’re excited to offer an incredible opportunity for an Engineering Manager to join our dedicated and professional team in Evesham.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, some Saturdays required. 7am – 4pm.
Type of Role: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £60,000
Location: Evesham
Your Duties Will Include:
* Deliver planned maintenance and breakdown support to achieve 100% customer service levels.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Take full ownership of repair quality, ensuring all work meets high professional standards and is completed promptly.
* Diagnose faults to root cause and implement effective solutions.
* Adhere to the maintenance schedule and update PPM records for audit readiness.
* Write or support the creation of planned maintenance routines.
* Produce weekly breakdown reports and provide daily updates for production meetings.
* Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping in the working environment.
* Monitor departmental efficiency and drive performance improvements.
* Manage engineering stores, control budgets, track usage, and maintain accurate stock records.
* Conduct daily service inspections and ensure thorough, documented shift handovers.
* Promote a safe working environment, reporting hazards and near misses.
* Uphold and support the company Health & Safety policy, including daily checks.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support ad hoc projects.
* Manage contractors, including permits to work, inductions, and safe startup procedures.
* Work overtime or alternative shifts when required with reasonable notice.
* Carry out reasonable requests from directors and participate in required training and development.
Your Skills and Experience:
* Relevant engineering qualification (e.g. mechanical, electrical, or multi-skilled discipline)
* Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment
* Experience supervising or leading engineering teams on shift
* Strong background in planned and reactive maintenance systems (e.g. CMMS like HolisTech)
* Competent in fault finding and repairing mechanical and electrical systems
* Good understanding of preventative maintenance and continuous improvement
* Ability to analyse equipment performance and identify efficiency improvements
* Familiarity with production equipment start-up and shutdown procedures
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe systems of work
* Strong leadership and team management skills
