Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Flexible role we welcome hybrid or home working, as well as the option to work in our office based in Kent (Tunbridge Wells). We also have offices in Central London (Pall Mall) and a Head Office in Hessle (Hull, East Yorkshire).
£26,000 - £28,000 (dependant on experience).

The role
In this role, you will assist clients in planning and booking their travel experiences, offering expert advice on destinations, accommodations, transportation, and activities. You will tailor travel packages to suit individual needs and budgets while ensuring exceptional service from start to finish. Key objectives of the role will be to:
Handle enquiries from customers in a professional and timely manner
Manage a daily allocation of enquires to qualify and quote, either via the phone, email, or occasionally in person
Provide timely responses to emails and calls from new enquiries queries relating to your bookings, through to post sales customer service queries and welcome home engagement
Produce engaging, informative and sales driven tailor-made quote proposals for customers, add value and uphold our brand guidelines
Work as part of a team to achieve and surpass sales targets
Provide unparalleled and personalised level of customer service
Build a loyal customer base to our brand
Assist the admin team by loading bookings accurately and in a timely fashion and dealing with queries and amendments proactively
Work as part of a team on daily admin tasks
Act as a point of contact for your clients
Provide a continuation of service to clients post booking
Take part in an out of hours assistance rota, giving support to clients travelling in the evenings and over the weekend, usually working 1 weekend in 5 weeks (only applicable once settled in role)
Flexible to undertake duties other than your normal office duties from time to time
About you
Essential
Must be in a current or recent sales role in the travel industry with up to 3 years experience, having worked for either a travel agency or tour operation and used to creating tailor-made travel itineraries
Demonstrable industry leading customer service experience and the drive to always surpass our clients expectations
An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, ensuring you are accurate at all times
Ability to build relationships quickly.
Ability to deal with complex situations and offer solutions.
Good organisational skills and able to work to deadlines.
Excellent time management
An effective team player, but also able to work on your own independently
Excellent knowledge of worldwide destinations
Confident, passionate, and creative
Experience in using booking systems such as airline, bed banks and suppliers
IT literacy with a good working knowledge of a variety of software applications, including Microsoft Office.
GDS Previous experience preferred but not essential
Desirable
Flexibility to assist in out-of-hours work as required.
Well-travelled with a preference of strong knowledge in Luxury Beach, City Break and USA & Canada self-drive itineraries.
Experience in researching country travel information, restrictions, and travel advice
