Housing Officer
📍 Location: Lambeth North
💷 Pay: £17.50 - £19.23 per hour
⏰ Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm (1-hour lunch)
📅 Duration: 2-3 months, with the potential to go permanent
Our client is seeking an experienced Housing Officer to join a small, friendly and well-established team in Lambeth North. This is a short-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The role involves managing housing duties end to end with minimal supervision, while ensuring administrative tasks are handled efficiently.
What You Will Be Doing
Managing day to day housing management tasks across a portfolio of properties
Acting as a key point of contact for residents, resolving issues efficiently and professionally
Supporting tenancy management, including sign-ups, renewals, and enforcement actions
Carrying out property visits and inspections where required
Maintaining accurate records and updating housing systems
Working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
What We Are Looking For
Previous experience working within a housing organisation (essential)
A solid understanding of current housing issues and legislation
Confident using IT systems, particularly Microsoft Office
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organised, proactive and able to hit the ground running
