Restaurant Manager – Lakeland Gate, Brewers Fayre – Carlisle
Fixed‑term contract until September.
Salary: £38,200 – £40,500 depending on experience.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Restaurant Manager plays a pivotal role in the day‑to‑day operation of the restaurant, creating a winning team and delivering outstanding service to guests.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the General Manager in recruitment, induction and onboarding of new team members.
* Demonstrate leadership with a hands‑on approach and effective communication, engaging and motivating the team through pre‑shift briefs.
* Drive high individual performance through regular one‑to‑one meetings and coaching, ensuring team members understand their goals.
* Maintain high standards of detail and quality in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
* Show passion for the brand and ensure the team is knowledgeable and confident.
* Manage labour and cost margins effectively, using guest feedback to maximise sales and revenue opportunities.
* Champion change, implementing innovative solutions within the team.
