The council is seeking to recruit a Communications Officer to undertake a range of duties aimed at raising the profile and promoting the reputation of Caerphilly County Borough Council on a local, regional and national level. A key part of this role is to work proactively with service areas across the authority to promote their services, enhance communication and draw out good news stories. Key roles include producing communications material and undertaking video production work including filming, editing and initial storyboard creation.
* A relevant Level 3 or 4 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales.
* Photography/video editing skills.
* Experience within marketing / communications.
* Full UK Category B ("Cars") driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business / work purposes to travel throughout the borough to attend events, launches, meetings etc.
