Cleaning Supervisor

Type: Full time
Hours: 40 hours per week – working any 5 days out of 7
Pay: £15.04 per hour
Location: Southside Shopping Centre Wandsworth
We are looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at Southside Shopping Centre, Wandsworth. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with previous cleaning experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead by example within a fast-paced retail environment.
Role Responsibilities
1. Manage and support the cleaning team on shift
2. Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard and within agreed SLA requirements
3. Maintain high standards across malls, toilets, back of house areas and external environments
4. Ensure cleaning equipment is clean, safe and used correctly
5. Support with staff training, development and performance management
6. Monitor stock levels, uniforms and cleaning consumables
7. Complete audits, reports and use mobile devices for operational data/tasks
8. Ensure all Health & Safety procedures and company policies are followed
9. Deliver excellent customer service and professionally handle issues or escalations
10. Work closely with the wider site management team to maintain high presentation standards across the shopping centre
What We're Looking For
11. Previous cleaning experience is essential
12. Previous supervisory or Duty Manager experience preferred
13. Good English communication and customer service skills
14. Ability to lead a team and work independently
15. Reliable, proactive and hardworking attitude
16. Flexible approach to working hours and operational needs
17. Comfortable using mobile devices and completing basic reporting tasks
18. Strong understanding of cleaning standards.
