Duties: We have a decent sized fleet of vehicles and trailers that we like to keep in the best of health so day to day you will be running maintenance on our fleet and ensuring they are kept safe, as well as responding to driver reported defects. You will be responsible for: Repair and maintenance of the fleet in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards. Preparing vehicles and trailers for their 6 weekly inspections Running diagnostics on vehicles utilising a range of equipment. Rectifying driver reportable defects. Tyre checks and maintenance. Pre MOT inspections and preparation. Presenting vehicles for their inspections and MOT. Other general repair and maintenance as required by the management team. Ensuring that you work within the Health & Safety regulations Carrying our roadside repairs as and when necessary. Reporting to the Transport Manager ensuring that all necessary check sheets, timesheets etc are completed accurately and submitted on time.
