Fire & Security Minor Works Engineer - Opportunities Available UK Wide
Marlowe Fire & Security, a specialist business within Marlowe Fire and Security Group, is looking to expand its team with an experienced Fire & Security Minor Works Engineer.
The role involves working with the Minor Works / Installations Team on small projects from start to finish, including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder, and Fire Alarm Systems. The successful candidate will contribute to the team, delivering excellent customer service and being rewarded for it.
* Liaise with the Lead Engineer on challenging sites, including critical issues.
* Work with subcontractors and onsite clients.
* Maintain Fire & Security Systems in your region as needed.
* Communicate effectively with customers and schedulers for planning site visits.
* Use customer portals as directed by your Lead Engineer.
* Assist the team with other tasks as required.
* Support Service Engineers on specific jobs and occasionally work outside your designated area.
* Plan and respond to routine and reactive call-outs.
* Manage stock levels with support from the Stores team.
* Attend training sessions and team meetings.
* Identify personal training needs to improve customer service.

Requirements
Who We’re Looking For
* Good knowledge of Fire and Security Systems.
* At least 2 years of relevant experience in Fire & Security Installation.
* Technical background in electrical/electronic industry.
* Experience with front-line customer contact preferred.
* Knowledge of industry standards and ability to commission multi-disciplined systems.
* Self-motivated with good organizational skills and initiative.
* Professional, well-organized, and computer literate.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
