Lusona Consultancy is partnered with a Glasgow based Housing Association to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. This is a leadership opportunity managing a team of 3 finance officers and reporting to the Director of Finance. Our client has over 4,500 housing units within the portfolio with significant growth plans into 2026. A values based business, our client are focused on customers and sustainable living and making a difference to communities that they serve. Offering a competitive package of £66,000 - £70,000 our client offer a generous suite of benefits including holiday buy and sell, 35 hour working week and up to 10% company pension. The Finance Manager will be a Fully Qualified Accountant with strong leadership skills gained within Housing or not for profit environment. The Finance Manager will assume responsibility for decision making through the deliver of monthly management accounts and presenting these to the board. The Finance manager will provide commercial insight and analysis, lead of budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis and will oversee the smooth end-end running of the finance team. The Finance manager will support with Statutory accounting and audit matters and will report on financial performance.
The Finance manager will be involved in strategic planning, supporting the director of finance with process improvements across systems and continuous improvement initiatives and will ensure the smooth end-end delivery of month-end activities. This is a varied \"hands on\" leadership role offering significant exposure to a complex business in a forward looking environment.
The successful candidate will have strong management accounting, forecasting and business partnering experience with the ability to lead and motivate the team.
