An SEMH school in Camden is looking for a strong SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEMH.
This is a hands-on role working with students who need structure, consistency and confident behaviour support to engage in education.
What you’ll be doing
* 1:1 and small group support
* Managing challenging behaviour using de-escalation
* Keeping pupils engaged and on task
* Supporting during lessons and unstructured time
* Building strong, professional relationships
What they need
* Experience working with SEMH or challenging behaviour
* Team Teach highly desirable
* Other behaviour training also considered (MAPA / restraint / de-escalation)
* Calm, confident and resilient approach
* Strong presence and consistency
