Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality personal care and support to individuals in a care home setting. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
* Follow individual care plans to ensure tailored support for each client's needs.
* Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour.
* Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Participate in training sessions and ongoing professional development as required.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
* A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
