Hours: 4 hours per week plus respite care with overnight stays required
Rate of Pay: £17.00 per hour. Sleepover rate £110 per night (10 hours)

A brief description of the individual requiring support:
We are looking for a special individual with patience, experience, and confidant to help and support is to meet the needs of our two disabled children.
Amelia is a delightful and tiny little girl aged 8, Non-Verbal, Tube Fed, with a diagnosis of Down Syndrome. Amelia does not communicate beyond some sounds and gestures and is entirely PEG fed all fluids, medications and meals.
Amelia has no behavioural issues, loves cuddles, her trampoline, bubble tube and of course Peppa Pig. Amelia enjoys soft plays, being outdoors, trampoline parks and sensory play.
Noah is 7 years old, not so small, has speech delay, sensory processing disorder and a diagnosis of Autism. Noah loves his phone, iPad, bike, swimming and soft play. Noah has limited speech and struggles to regulate his emotions meaning he is often upset or frustrated and needs support with this.
Brief details of the job:
We are looking for support approximately 4 hours per week but also the role will require respite overnight care. Specifically 1st– 6th September. The children require support with:
1. Eating/feeding
2. Personal care (nappies/toilet use)
3. Washing and dressing
4. School runs where appropriate
We are looking for a dedicated SEN professional who is confidant with both children and able to support them either in the home or to engage in the activities they enjoy within the community.
Two references and full DBS is required for the role.
