Those Huge Small Victories
Our teachers are fulfilled by the idea of making even the smallest positive changes in our young people, so we celebrate the little things. There are many ups and downs, and for some of our young people, sitting through a lesson can be a big win. We call these "huge small victories," and while they may seem small on the surface, they add up to make a significant difference.
Get out what you put in
You’ll be working with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Your role is to help them learn, develop their abilities, and boost their self-esteem. Resilience and dedication are essential, but the huge small victories you achieve will be something to be proud of.
It can be a challenging journey, but the positive progress will be rewarding. As a Teacher at Witherslack Group, you’ll receive comprehensive support, including access to in-house psychologists, teaching assistants, and therapy professionals. Our colleagues are highly skilled, the school environments are well-resourced, and we will support you throughout your career development.
One of the best environments in SEND
Our new Castlefell School is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility primarily serving children with SEMH needs, as well as children with moderate learning needs and autism. It caters for up to 50 pupils aged 8 to 16.
This exciting opportunity serves Rudgeway and the wider community, and you will be central to its development. Our goal is to provide each pupil with an outstanding educational experience, focusing on individual progress and care.
