Polypipe Building Products are focused on delivering solutions to the residential sector. Polypipe Building Products works with national and local developers, plumbing and heating engineers, general builders and groundworkers to deliver above and below ground drainage systems, rainwater solutions as well as hot and cold plastic plumbing products. The South Site Inspector will take responsibility for reporting the compliance of Polypipe Building Products installed by contractors on regional specified developer’s new homes sites in the North of the country. This role will cover the whole of the North of England, ranging from areas such as Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester, Liverpool and more, a full post code list can be provided. For this role, we do not require someone with direct experience as you will be fully trained upon commencement. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the road and working outdoors. Key Responsibilities: * Attend sites and conduct inspections within the properties ensuring that all Polypipe products that are meant to be there, are fitted. * Complete the Polypipe Audit form stating the items are present. * Record and collect information from active building sites in anticipation of future claims. * Record findings and communicate non-compliance details on sites as soon as possible in the relevant agreed way. * Provide accurate reports as requested. * Effectively liaise with ground workers and plumbing contractors to raise awareness of specifications and product details. * Promote the company at all times in a professional and positive manner. * Ensure time is managed sufficiently to meet all deadlines. * Ensure all activities are carried out whilst complying with our measures in respect of Health, Safety and Environment. Requirements: * Previous experience working within a Building Products environment is desirable but not essential as full training is provided. * Driving Licence. * Must have your own vehicle with the option to opt into the company car scheme. * Knowledge of HSE requirements. * Demonstrate a broad knowledge of Polypipe Building Products with full training provided. * Confident driver to cover the North of the country as needed. * Strong time management skills & Self-motivated. * Highly organised with strong attention to detail. * Reliable and trustworthy.with Excellent communication skills. * Computer literate to a basic level. * Actively promote a positive image of the company at all times.
