Intro
Cedar is currently partnered with a private-equity backed energy infrastructure business to secure an Interim Finance Manager. The role is a 6-month contract, paying a day rate between £400-475 per day.

The Role
As Interim Finance Manager, you will cover:
* Overseeing daily accounting operations including general ledger maintenance
* Managing end-to-end vendor and AP processes: invoice processing, reconciliations, weekly payments, and remittances
* Administering corporate credit cards and monthly sales invoicing
* Preparing monthly cash requests and performing bank reconciliations
* Leading the month-end close process including accruals, prepayments, and management accounts
* Supporting R&D accounting and tax credit submissions across UK and EU jurisdictions
* Delivering performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting
* Coordinating UK audit and tax compliance with external advisors
* Overseeing VAT filings and audit response preparation
* Collaborating cross-functionally with international teams, legal, and project delivery stakeholders
Your Profile
You will ideally have:
* A formal accountancy qualification (e.g. CA/ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
* Experience across core accounting and financial operations within scaling businesses
* Proven ability to coordinate with international and cross-functional teams
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
* Prior interim or contract experience is beneficial but not essential
The rate of £400-475 per day represents a fair value or logical increase on your previous salary or day rate.
