In this fast-paced, site-based role, you will be responsible for sourcing, managing, and tracking essential items that support our operations. These include Kuehne+Nagel Corporate Wear, Workwear, PPE, packaging consumables, and stationery. You will work closely with suppliers, maintain accurate inventory records, and support various teams across the business. Join a high-performing team committed to excellence.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm — promoting a healthy work-life balance.
How you create impact
1. Review inventory stock levels regularly and raise purchase requests to replenish stock as needed.
2. Maintain sufficient stocks of fast-moving products to support operational needs cost-effectively.
3. Administer inventory using the Interim Stock Management, Consumables, and Stationery databases.
4. Process Goods In for received goods within agreed time frames.
5. Manage Purchase Orders, ensuring overdue orders are expedited.
6. Identify slow-moving, overstocked, or obsolete items and notify the Procurement Manager for action.
7. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, follow up on overdue orders, and resolve discrepancies.
What we would like you to bring
1. Understanding of logistics and warehouse practices such as picking, loading, receiving, and stocktaking is advantageous.
2. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
3. High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
4. Ability to build relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
