Academics, Canterbury are working with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in East Kent to recruit a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Music to join the team from April 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate music specialist to deliver engaging and creative Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The successful candidate will be a confident classroom practitioner who can inspire a love of music, encourage high standards of performance and contribute to the wider life of the school.
The school is seeking a committed teacher who is able to plan and deliver high-quality lessons, support student progress effectively and contribute to extracurricular music opportunities such as ensembles, choirs, or performances.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
Experience teaching in England or Wales essential
Strong subject knowledge in Music
Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities
