We are looking to recruit a Procurement Officer for Surrey and Sussex Police to join their dynamic and exciting team. The Joint Procurement Service provides strategic and technical procurement advice, as well as ensuring best value, whilst maintain their organisations high standards. They will ensure the delivery of multiple procurement projects on behalf of the Police and Crime Commissioners for Surrey and Sussex, Surrey Police and Sussex Police. This involves procuring a vast range of goods, works and services from office supplies, software applications to grounds maintenance, uniform, drones and tasers. Through our procurement activities we support the operational policing in Surrey and Sussex. The role will involve: Running and managing end to end procurement processes. Strong stakeholder engagement and management. Operating within Public Contracts Regulations and internal policies.What you need to succeed: Must understand PCR 2015 and have sound understanding of operating within the regulations. Strong experience running procurement processes. Ideally has experience of working within the public sector.
