We at Syntech Recruitment are pleased to offer an opportunity for an Aircraft Seat Builder to join a highly regarded engineering business based near Gerrards Cross. As a Seat Builder, you will be assembling aircraft seat pans and mechanisms, guide rails, main beam sub-assemblies and survival kits. Seat Assembler Duties:
* Using hand tools to assemble aerospace parts
* Perform quality checks on your own work
* Working to engineering diagrams/ drawings
* Undertake self-inspection
* Recording and tracking your work on the ERP software (SAP)
* Make sure tools are fit for purpose and calibrated
* Report any dangerous and other dangers such as faulty equipment to local supervision
* Follow safety regulations
* Conduct stage inspection & final certification
Seat Assembler Profile:
* Manufacturing experience in Aerospace or other precision environment
* Experience with a variety of hand tools and power tools
* Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings / diagrams
* Computer literate (Excel / Word / SAP)
* Methodical approach
* Good attention to detail
* Ability to work within a team
* Target driven orientation
* Strong attention to detail
