The Role
As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for recruiting new learners, building strong networks, and generating leads to meet and exceed enrollment targets. This is a target‑based role that combines relationship‑building, sales expertise, and community engagement. You will represent our Hair & Beauty Academies with professionalism, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to learners’ success and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

* Drive learner recruitment through proactive outreach, networking, and lead generation activities.
* Build relationships with potential learners, partners, and local organisations to promote our training programmes.
* Achieve individual and team recruitment targets through effective pipeline management.
* Provide excellent customer service and guidance to learners throughout the recruitment process.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure all data handling complies with GDPR.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver an outstanding learner experience.

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience in a sales or recruitment role (essential).
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Industry knowledge and qualifications (minimum of 3 years preferred).
* Knowledge of funding streams and eligibility.
* Travel will be required; a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred.
* A proactive, target-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
