Transport and Compliance Administrator
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: A GBP 28,000+ per year (DOE)
Hours: Monday:Friday, 8:30am : 5:30pm (inclusive of a 1:hour lunch break)
Location: Southend:On:Sea, Essex (SS3 9QY)
We are seeking an experienced Transport Administrator to join a leading transport company based in Southend:On:Sea, Essex (SS3 9QY).
This is a permanent position, subject to a successful probationary period.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Managing transport documentation and administrative tasks
* Ensuring the workshop submits paperwork on time and that it is fully completed
* Supporting the workshop team in managing the service schedule
* Processing workshop paperwork into spreadsheets and maintaining filing systems
* Coordinating with customers and drivers
* Answering incoming calls
* Carrying out general transport administration as required
Required Skills and Experience:
* Experience dealing with drivers, workshop staff, or customers over the phone
* Strong administrative skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Ideally, previous experience in a transport office or working with compliance
* A CPC in Transport Management would be a strong advantage
