My client is a specialist stonemason business with a prestigious client base of some of the UK's leading high-end brands and they are now looking to recruit a Commercial Stone Flooring Fitter to work on various high profile commercial contracts across central London. My client is open to employing somebody on a permanent PAYE or contract basis depending on your preferance. This is a highly varied, hands-on role where you will: As a commercial floorlayer you will be responsible for the preparation and installation of a range of floor coverings in commercial and site conditions including textile, resilient, wood, tile and resin products. The job role of a commercial floorlayer includes the following duties: * Measuring up floor spaces * Working accurately from detailed plans and specifications * Preparing the subfloor to receive the floorcovering * Using hand tools, power tools and specialist equipment * Measuring, marking and cutting floorcoverings * Installing the final floorcoverings using a wide range of methods * Working with adhesives * Removing old flooring * Working alongside other trades on commercial sites, in public spaces and industrial buildings Interviews are ongoing so apply now...
