Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham Job Type: Contract, expected to work full-time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £130 - £150 per day Job Duties: Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher Follow the lesson plans provided and ensure a productive learning environment Manage classroom behaviour and ensure student safety Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities as required Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Proven experience in teaching or working with children and young people Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and work with diverse student populations Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the national curriculum Effective classroom management skills Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual students Proficient in using educational technology Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education Experience in teaching multiple subjects and grade levels Additional training in special education or SENCO qualifications Working Conditions: Work primarily in school settings Regular school hours with occasional requirement for additional hours Potential exposure to challenging behaviour from students All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
