Job Opportunity: Production Operator
We are currently seeking a Production Operator to join our team at our clients Inverness facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dynamic and fast-paced production environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will either hold a Higher Education qualification or have relevant experience working in a continuous operation or manufacturing environment. We welcome applications from candidates with backgrounds in production or industrial operations.
Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain plant and machinery to company standards and in line with Health & Safety policy
*
Complete and maintain records in accordance with the company’s QA manual
*
Monitor your working area and perform routine maintenance and safety checks
*
Track equipment performance, record anomalies, and report any process deviations
*
Support fire safety by monitoring equipment and working with the fire team leader
*
Ensure planned maintenance is completed as per manufacturer guidelines
*
Maintain high levels of housekeeping to promote a safe, clean working environment
*
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and safe operations
*
Assist in developing risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), ensuring these are followed and updated as needed
*
Adhere to all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) procedures and report any incidents
Requirements
*
A good level of spoken and written English is essential
*
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production role is highly desirable
