PCB Test & Repair Engineer
North Yorkshire (onsite), Permanent | Competitive Salary (based on experience)
Hours: Mon-Thu 08:30-16:30, Fri 08:30-16:00 (early finish). Due to the site location, a full UK driving licence and your own transport are required.

We're now looking for a PCB Test & Repair Engineer to join their highly skilled team at their North Yorkshire facility.
The Role: In this role, you'll be responsible for testing, diagnosing, and repairing Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) within a high-tech, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Test PCBs using ATE, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and diagnostic tools
* Analyse test results against design specifications
* Troubleshoot and repair faults, including SMDs, through-hole components, and multi-layer boards
* Perform soldering, rework, and component replacement
* Maintain detailed test and repair documentation, and provide feedback for continuous improvement
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues and enhance product quality
What We're Looking For
* Hands-on PCB testing, repair, and assembly experience
* Strong soldering and rework skills (SMD & through-hole)
* Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams, schematics, and PCB layouts
* Knowledge of oscilloscopes, multimeters, and PCB test equipment
* Great attention to detail, analytical mindset, and team player attitude
Desirable
* IPC-A-610 certification
* Experience with analogue/digital electronics, microcontrollers, or power electronics
* 2-3 years' experience in PCB testing & repair
