Core Responsibilities
* Pedagogical Excellence: Planning and delivering high-energy, practical, and theoretical lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5, with a focus on GCSE and A-Level Drama & Theatre Studies.
* Performance Direction: Leading, directing, and producing high-quality whole-school productions, showcase evenings, and community arts festivals.
* Practitioner Theory: Guiding students through the study and practical application of key practitioners, including Stanislavski, Brecht, Artaud, and Frantic Assembly.
* Curriculum Innovation: Crafting an inclusive curriculum that explores diverse playwrights, physical theatre, devising, and script analysis.
* Exam Mastery: Mentoring examination cohorts through the AQA, Edexcel, or Eduqas specifications, ensuring students excel in both their practical performance exams and written analytical papers.
* Technical Integration: Introducing students to lighting, sound design, stage management, and set design to provide a holistic view of the theatre industry.
