We are looking for an experienced, highly engaging Learning and Development manager to join our Colleague Experience team.
Reporting to the Colleague Experience Service Manager, the Learning & Development Manager has end-to-end responsibility for the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning and development activity across RBH. This includes ensuring learning provision is aligned to regulatory requirements, organisational strategy, workforce plans, leadership frameworks, and future capability requirements.
The focus of the role is on ensuring an organisation wide, proactive, high-quality learning and development service that meets business needs, supports colleague performance and progression, and enables people managers to build confident, capable teams. The postholder provides expert guidance, coaching, and challenge to people managers and leaders, embedding a culture of continuous learning and development across RBH.
The Manager has line management responsibility for the learning and development officer. As a Manager in RBH, the postholder works collaboratively across the organisation, building strong relationships with colleagues. Externally, the role acts as a strong RBH Ambassador, developing effective partnerships with learning providers, professional bodies, and sector networks.
What we are looking for:
* Experience of leading and developing organisation-wide learning and development services or programmes
* Knowledge of learning needs analysis, development planning, and L&D related regulation in social housing.
* Experience of working with external learning providers and professional partners
* Knowledge and experience of learning management systems (LMS) and/or HRIS platforms
* Understanding of budget management, with experience of delivering services within financial parameters
* Ability to provide data-driven insight, reports, and recommendations to senior leaders
* Ability to develop clear, engaging learning strategies, frameworks, policies, and guidance documentation
* Awareness of statutory and regulatory learning requirements and best practice in learning and development and social housing
