Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join a leading brand with offices in Leeds.
You will be a qualified Accountant, ideally CIMA / ACCA / ACA with strong stakeholder management skills and reporting to the Finance Director, your responsibilities will include:-
1. Supporting and working closely with the Commercial team
2. Taking the finance lead on all pricing and promotional activity with an understanding of how this impacts on revenue and margins and ensuring this is reflected in the forecast
3. Developing and reviewing an appropriate suite of reports to improve the tracking of pricing and promotional activity and measure its effectiveness
4. Working closely with the Buying and Supply Chain Finance teams to understand impact of any pricing changes and how this may effect any commercial decision making
5. Agreeing appropriate sales intake targets with the Commercial and Sales teams
6. Being the finance lead on all business cases linked to new product investment and any range review activity
7. Managing the monthly forecasting process
8. Ensuring knowledge on intake for the channels is inputted into the process as well as a clear understanding of profitability across the channels
9. Reviewing of month end and presenting to the Commercial teams
10. Working as the finance lead on all new product investment and any range review activities
11. Providing analysis and building business cases as appropriate to be presented at Board level for sign off
12. Ongoing post project reviews
13. Working with the wider Business Partner Team to develop and implement financial best practice
Requirements
14. Fully qualified Accountant with solid business partnering skills
15. Confident, with the ability to work with non finance teams across the group
16. Strong influencing and presentation skills
17. Good analytical background
