Job Overview
Rate of pay £14.75 per hour - 6 hours per week to be worked on a Monday and/or Tuesday.
Responsibilities
This is a super opportunity for someone who just needs to work a few hours each week.
I am a 40 year old woman and have some physical disabilities, so I need help to maintain my independence in my own home.
I need help to go to the supermarket for my weekly shop and to plan and cook tasty healthy meals. I enjoy cooking but need help in the kitchen to achieve this.
Other things I’d like help with are hair washing and some other general personal care.
There might occasionally be some very light housework, such as vacuuming and helping me keep my clothes organised.
It’s really good when there’s a bit of time to go out somewhere on weeks when I don’t need much shopping too.
I need reliable, patient and friendly. There is no hard physical work involved, just a willingness to learn about the ways my disability affects me, and support me to manage those.
I do have a cat, so it helps if you are cat friendly. If you think this would suit you, please get in touch.
Requirements
Although access to a car would be good, it is not essential. (Expenses for car use would be paid).
It is essential that the post holder be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or willing to join.
