A leading client is seeking a dedicated Document Control Support to play a vital role in ensuring project documentation is accurate, accessible, and well-maintained from start to finish. This is an exciting opportunity to support some of the industry’s most dynamic projects and be an integral part of the project team’s success.
What You’ll Do:
Assist the document control team in managing, recording, and archiving all project documents throughout their lifecycle.
Ensure all documentation complies with company quality procedures and design standards.
Manage logging, copying, distribution, storage (electronic and hard copy), transmittals, revisions, and register updates.
Collaborate with project management, engineers, procurement, and partners to meet document control needs.
Represent the client professionally when interacting with external stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in document control processes.
Ensure all templates adhere to BMS Document Management System and Teamcentre standards.
Register incoming and outgoing documents, maintaining accurate electronic records and transmittals.
Compile and distribute design packages, including CAD drawings and related documents, ensuring quality and compliance.
Serve as the contact point for customer and third-party documentation receipt.
Oversee the archiving of all project documentation, maintaining both electronic and hard copies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of four GCSEs, including a grade C or above in English Language.
Secondary education to Higher Grade level or equivalent.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple documentation processes simultaneously.
Good communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external partners.
Competency in using document management systems and software.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with document control systems like Teamcentre.
Familiarity with CAD drawings and design documentation.
Additional certifications related to document management or project support.Preferred Education & Experience:
While no prior experience is required, a background in administrative or document management roles is advantageous.
Basic knowledge of construction, engineering, or project environments is a plus.Other Requirements:
Mandatory completion of a Competency-Based Interview and CCNSG certification.
Ability to work collaboratively and professionally represent the client.
