Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Supervisor for our manufacturing operations at Bishopbriggs. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the production area, ensuring quality standards are met, and supervising a team of workers.
This role requires strong organisational and leadership abilities. The Production Supervisor will play a key part in delivering high-quality results within specified timeframes, contributing to the overall success of our business. This post will work a shift rotation.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate all production activities on-site.
* Manage a team of production workers, providing support, training, and performance feedback.
* Ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
* Ensure timely completion of tasks.
* Liaise with team members and support managers to communicate progress and resolve any issues promptly.
* Conduct regular site audits to monitor work quality and safety adherence.
* Organise resources efficiently to optimise workflow and minimise delays.
* Maintain accurate documentation related to work progress, materials used, and safety compliance.
Requirements
* Proven experience in supervising production.
* Strong management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.
* Good understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to production.
* Effective communication skills to liaise with various colleagues and team members clearly and professionally.
* Experienced in production management in fast paced environment.
