We are a well-established and expanding electrical compliance contractor delivering high-quality services across the commercial sector. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experiencedElectrical Operations Managerto lead our Electrical Operations team.

The Role:
AsElectrical Operations Manager, you will take full responsibility for the delivery and performance of multiple commercial electrical compliance contracts from inception through to completion.
You will oversee operations across a diverse portfolio including schools, office buildings, industrial sites, warehouses, public sector buildings, and healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational & Contract Management
* Manage a team of 20+ office and field-based staff
* Lead the day-to-day operations of technical, administrative, and electrical teams
* Coordinate with estimating and senior management to ensure contracts are delivered on time and within budget
* Oversee labour planning, material procurement, and overall contract requirements
* Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure effective delivery
* Review completed works and escalate issues where necessary
* Ensure all works meet required quality and compliance standards
* Identify and implement improvements to operational efficiency
* Attend client meetings to review performance, progress, and future requirements
Technical & Compliance
* Provide technical leadership, guidance, and problem-solving support to engineers and internal teams
* Support NICEIC compliance requirements, acting as a Qualified Supervisor
* Ensure adherence toBS 7671, Electricity at Work Regulations, and relevant Codes of Practice
People Leadership & HR
* Lead, support, and develop team members across multiple departments
* Contribute to HR processes, including disciplinary meetings where required
* Provide clear, factual input to ensure fair and consistent outcomes
About You:
You will be an experienced and confident leader with strong technical expertise and a proven ability to manage multiple contracts and teams simultaneously.
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years experience in an Electrical Contracts or Operations Manager role
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
* 18th Edition IET xkybehq Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382-18 or later)
* Electrical Inspection & Testing (C&G 2391 or equivalent)
* NICEIC Qualified Supervisor status
* Strong knowledge of BS 7671 and Electricity at Work Regulations
* Experience managing commercial electrical contracts
* Excellent communication and IT skills (e.g. Word, Excel)
* Strong organisational and leadership skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
Desirable:
* Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH, SSSTS, or SMSTS)
* Experience managing both small and large-scale projects
