Join to apply for the Speech and Language Therapist role at Kumu Wellness.
We are looking for fixed term Speech and Language Therapists to join our childrens community Speech and Language Therapy team to carry out assessment and intervention for children who have an EHCP.
Responsibilities
* Manage a demanding but rewarding workload to provide an efficient and effective service.
* Be a confident, self-directed individual with a strong team focus; work independently when required.
* Demonstrate excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills to maintain high standards of care when liaising with parents and both internal and external agencies.
* Provide assessment and intervention for children with speech, language and communication needs in a variety of settings.
* Contribute to service development by sharing ideas for improving the quality of care.
Support and Development
* Strong support network for clinical work and wellbeing; wellbeing is a focus within the team.
* Opportunities to learn from experienced team members, including regular meetings and CPD sessions.
* Clinical and management supervision provided.
* Opportunities to develop skills across a range of clinical areas; external training available if relevant.
* Role essential equipment provided (e.g., laptops); free onsite parking with mileage reimbursement; hybrid working from clinics/schools and home.

Qualifications and Eligibility
* We welcome applications from newly qualified Speech and Language Therapists and Speech and Language Therapy students awaiting final degree results.
* Role involves working in a variety of settings providing assessment and interventions for children with speech, language and communication needs.
