ACCOUNTS SENIOR
Benham Conway & Co Chartered Accountants is located in the Kelvingrove Park area of Glasgow. We specialise in the arts, film and TV sectors and are currently recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join our talented and welcoming team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparing sole trader, partnership and Limited Company accounts to a high standard
Accurately processing client's accounting data, e.g. through Sage, Xero, Iris, Quickbooks and FreeAgent
Managing client relationships
Preparing management accounts
Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
Preparing corporation tax computations and CT600 returns
Preparing self-assessment tax returns
Managing and reviewing junior staff work
Skills and Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience with a Chartered Accountancy firm
Experience preparing statutory accounts on accounts systems
Strong knowledge of accounting systems such as Sage, Xero, Iris, Quickbooks and FreeAgent
Good technical knowledge
Attention to detail
Personable, warm and confident personality
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with staff and clients at all levels effectively.

35 hours, Monday to Friday, with flexible core hours between 8am and 6pm
